I devoted my leather biker jacket to the Black Twilight Circle, Volahn in particular.
A rather simple look, but I don't like to 'overdo' a leather jacket. Less is more!
Left sleeve: Volahn sigil patch
Right sleeve: Crepusculo Negro sigil patch
Pins (up-down): Volahn sigil, Crepusculo Negro sigil, Volahn sigil (2)
RIP: retired jacket!

bootleg patches?
H_Entfremdung on
Nope, every piece of merch on the jacket is 100% official.
GoatMaiden on
ok, i dont know that there are high quality patches of them available. fine
H_Entfremdung on
Well, the Volahn is limited to only around 100 copies or so I believe (very limited run from CN), if you're interested in the BTC-patch, I got mine from the Ajna Offensive: http://www.theajnaoffensive.com/collections/fabric/products/black-twilig...
Those two are the only official embroidered patches from CN I believe exist, all the rest are screen-printed and crustpunk-ish in style (of which I got two as well).

There's some seriously nice stuff on this (label?), I really should look more into them.
H_Entfremdung on
You really should idd! Some rather original bm is coming from these guys (indeed a label, as well as somekind of collective/circle). I myself am rather fond of Volahn, Arizmenda and Dolorvotre, but Tukaaria, Odz Manouk and Kallathon are worth a listen as well if you're looking for suggestions.
Surprised to see BTC stuff here. Good job on the jacket!
H_Entfremdung on
Thanks! I aimed for something original, because certainly in Europe, even with Iron Bonehead as a BTC-distributor, merch of the BTC is rather hard to come by.
Either way I believe the collective doesn't get nearly enough appreciation, which was another reason to make this jacket somekind of tribute.
If you're into that type of sound you might be interested in the BBH bands. I'm not, because I like my black metal more bestial. But it's definitely very respectable and worthy.
H_Entfremdung on
Known of them for a while, but never gave them a try (NSBM usually is -imo- of rather doubtable quality except for a few notable bands/projects). I'll definitely give them a shot though if they're somewhat similar to BTC!
Get that, I know a few guys who have a rather diverse music taste and when listening to black metal only fully appreciate truly primitive war metal/bestial black/death metal.
Kathulex on
BBH gets full NS only by the last album of each band. Before those albums, all of it is very hypnotic and atmospheric BM worth checking out without a single trace of steretypical NSBM. Production is toolshed quality but adds to the charm.
Same goes for Temnozor and Walknut, bands that are connected with BBH in one way or another but not a direct part of it. They are also worth checking out, especially Walknut, hands down one of the coldest atmospheres ever portrayed by the means of metal music IMO.
H_Entfremdung on
Good to know! Never took the time to explore their history and only got to a superficial knowledge of their existence. Listening to Branikald & Forest atm, the latter seems worth exploring.
Temnozor, Walknut, Nokturnal Mortum, etc. I already know of and appreciate (to some extent, some albums more than others). Walknut idd quite knows to create an atmosphere, in my opinion the eerier version of Drudkh (Forgotten Legends & Autumn Aurora-era).
Kathulex on
Branikald was great and was highly productive, each album being a pretty solid slab of pure hatred. Especially Hladnovzor album, best in their discography IMO.
Forest is excellent all around, with all albums being memorable and pretty damn good.
Don't let the sudden change of last albums fool you. Yes, it's different but it's still pretty solid.
Only currently active BBH band is Nitberg which is much more open about imagery. First album is pretty good but second one, Nagelreid, is a goddamn masterpiece. It's a one long song for whole album but it's very well worth the time.

Hails!!! BBH and all of the bands mentioned here.
H_Entfremdung on
Haha, well this seems to be topic of quality underground taste overall!
H_Entfremdung on
Still working my way through all that material! Nitberg is imo (of what I've heard yet) the best BBH-material I've come across (certainly Nagelreid), so I get your positive comment!

Well done!
Nice to see a BTC devotee ;)
H_Entfremdung on
Thanks! I noticed you wear the same Volahn pin on your battle jacket, so you're among the few European BTC-worshippers as well!
Canrith on
Hails! I think I might have traded with you and sent 2 of those Volahn badges your way no?
H_Entfremdung on
Idd, as you see they've been put to good use!
Canrith on
Loox great! cool to find you here*
H_Entfremdung on
Idd! Recently decided to make an account after all, got to know this site a while ago but since I didn't have a decent battle jacket back then it got postponed. Viewed your own collection of merch, quite something! Some rather rare stuff you're hoarding haha
Canrith on
Thanx - It is a humble yet, appreciated gaggle of things... I have other items I want to photo and post soon. I will also have more up for trade/sale in the coming days in the way of shirts, patches, and pins. Keep your eyes peeled.*
H_Entfremdung on
Still quite worth to show here. Alright, I'll take a regular look onto your profile then!
H_Entfremdung on
Same here man! Still waiting for the pro-tapes of Aq'Ab'Al and Stillbirth ... to appear onto their webshop.
Already managed to collect a lot of their stuff though: Volahn - Aq'Ab'Al (tape and dlp), Volahn Dimenciones (tape and lp), all Arizmenda's on tape, Volahn/Kallathon tape, Arizmenda - Within ... dlp, Dolorvotre pro-tape and of course the merch on the jacket + screen-printed patches of Arizmenda and Volahn.
H_Entfremdung on
Still a good start of a BTC-collection though! Looking to get myself a copy of the Axeman tape or lp as well, some of the greatest old-school crust-influenced metal I've heard in a while.
What does the compilation sound like btw? I only heard a few songs (I remember the Axeman & Arizmenda songs we're quite worth noticing).
H_Entfremdung on
Thanks man! Next time I'll order from IB I'll take a copy of the dcd then.
Plague on
Damn. Meant to comment the first time i saw ur jacket! Love the sigils!
H_Entfremdung on
Thanks man! Put a lot of effort in trying to get all the merch together (my versions of the pins of Volahn were only sold during their first gigs, etc.). Aimed for a more or less 'occult' look and I believe I've achieved that. One of the coming months I'll also sew some of the printed cloth patches onto a denim jacket or so (got the Volahn patch with the Aztec altar and the Arizmenda sigil).
Only thing I'm perhaps lacking for my leather is some sort of logo/sigil-backpatch, but no idea if CN (or perhaps their distributors Iron Bonehead and Ajna) are thinking about doing such a thing ...
Plague on
Maybe a pentagram sigil. http://www.witchcraftandwitches.com/images/inverted_pentagram.jpg
H_Entfremdung on
Exactly. Would be breaking the Precolombian primitivism-style of the jacket to add a Luciferian/Qliphotic/etc. type of symbol to it. I'll see if I can get it painted or get a personalized bootleg somewhere.

Thanks! I hope to add some more BTC-related stuff in the future.
