The Warfield smelling like the stench of burning death!

The grinding pioneering underground legends Repulsion at the Warfield in San Francisco last night providing support for some gimmicky non-Metal band called...Ghost? That was a fucking raging performance and a great setlist at that! They honored my request as well by playing one of their many classics Six Feet Under which was beyond sick as fuck and I love these beloved trail blazers even more after they played that amazing song for me even after they had deleted that song from their setlist when they were still backstage. That was a classy move right there! Some other classy moves? Playing a Venom cover and a Slaughter cover and talking fondly about Chuck from Death. Really cool people as well! A venue like The Warfield needed that badly! Shit, I was the only one doing any crowd surfing at all!

Every serious headbanger can raise a beer to that. After the show I had a nice chat with Matt Olivo and a few other actual metalheads who like me were there just to see Repulsion and then I just took off and went back home. There was no other reason for me to stick around.

Thanks man. If their performance headband and the right type of venue in front of hundreds of people who make up nothing but their target audience then I guarantee you, there would have been constant pit action and non-stop crowd surfing and stage diving.
