It was. I'm not a huge black metal fan, but Watain are undoubtably a great live band. They had these enormous steel tridents on stage that they lit on fire and the smoke alarm went off. We could still hear it ringing when went home, it was pretty cool.
Watain and Necrophobic in one night, that must have been a kick-ass evening! I watched several Watain live clips and they always create an incendiary atmosphere on stage, full of fire everywhere and stuff!
How was the Necrophobic show? Did they play before or after Watain? And did they have as many pyrotechnics as Watain?
Watain was the headliner so Necrophobic played before. I don't remember them having any pyrotechnics (as in bombs and stuff) but neither did Watain, they just lit shit on fire, lol.
