Local H

I'm a couple days late posting this. My apologies.

Up till last Saturday, it had been 3 years since I last saw Local H. In other words, too long. When I found out they were playing a free street fair 10 minutes away from me, I couldn't miss it. Boy am I happy I went. I felt like I was in 8th grade all over again back when I was obsessed with them. They played the hits, some new songs, and opened up with a blistering cover of Motörhead's “(We Are) the Road Crew”.

Unfortunately, the crowd was as weak as you could get. I'm assuming 99% of the attendees had never seen Local H in their life because there wasn't a single pit until the end when me and a bunch of middle aged guys finally got restless during “High-Fiving MF” and broke down the barrier between the stage and the crowd. You could only imagine how many dirty looks I was getting bumping into everyone hahaha. Those stupid hipsters were holding on to their beers for dear life like it was their children hahahahaha.

The coolest part was getting to meet Scott Lucas again. He didn't recognize me 3 years later, but he was still very cool.
