I don't think I've ever been this late to uploading actionshots. Sure a week is understandable but 2?! Shame on me!
2 weeks ago tonight, Black Sabbath played Chicago for the last time. Because if there's one thing we've learned from the Mötley Crüe final tour, there's nothing wrong with saying goodbye to a city twice. I was really sad going in the show and still am a couple weeks later. Hell, I'm still trying to process the fact that last year was the last time I'd ever see Rush. It sucks that all these classic bands are hanging it up (many my favorites), but I guess nothing can last forever...except Blue Öyster Cult who meant it when they said On Tour Forever.
Of the three times I saw Sabbath, this may have been their best show. Ozzy sounded better than he did this January and the band was on top of their game. Hearing Tony pummel the audience with those riffs one last time was glorious. “Into the Void”, “Snowblind”, “Black Sabbath”...Tony is the riff king. The setlist was about the same as last time but a couple songs shorter (no “God is Dead” and “Under the Sun/Every Day Comes and Goes”). I can't complain though. It's bloody Sabbath.
They'll be sorely missed, but at least they're going out on top.

Final tour or not, BS will last forever !!

true.. it's sad; either the classic bands splitting up or icons like Lemmy passing away... but atleast we had a chance to see them live....
