This was at CDFII in Oakland on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Made a TON of excellent purchases that I'll be posting later today and in the coming days.
You're telling me man! There were mountains of amazing European and Latin American imports for sale. I always love finding great stuff to buy at these festivals!
I remember when, in 2012, I was amazed by a shop, in Haight Street/S.Francisco, packed, really packed of metal/rock shirts and stuff like in your pics, there were tons of shirt, a lot hung on the ceiling....don't remember the name of the shop...there aren't shop like that in my hometown...
Impressive View for sure.
But aren't these Bootlegs 90% of the time? I am always a bit suspicious when it comes to these stands at Festsivals, especially when the sellers have a ....certain phenotype, if You get me. And also i f the genres are that mixed.
Thanks. Sure, there's a lot of bootlegs for sure, but there's also a lot of official stuff as well. The Latinos do admittedly sell a lot of bootlegs, but there's a lot of great stuff in there. I'm selective about the bootlegs I buy.
Didn't know they mix it up actually, perhaps stands like these should seperate Bootlöegs from Originals in the future. Not that i despise Boots in general, absolutely not, but i would not pay as much for a boot than i would for an Original and so would like to know it before. Also You never know about the steadiness of the print with these.... a hit or miss, i'd say.
Still from this view there is Killer stuff for sure.
I know! They had a ton of great stuff in there. I almost bought that Re-animator shirt, but I decided to pass on it after spending a shitload of money.

I think the name of the shop that you're referring to is called Shaxul Records. Unfortunately, the owner closed it.

Let me guess, this shop wasn't attracting enough actual metalheads?
