What else is there to say? Me playing drums with flippin' Jungle Rot, my first show with them, October 14, 2015 @ The Cobra Lounge, Chicago, IL w/Morta Skuld, Hammer Fight, Product Of Hate, and Discarnate. Afterwards I got a huge hand from the audience and Dave said "You did good, kid." So yeah I felt like a king! Dream come true!
Thanks man, I was SO nervous, literally felt like I was going to be sick, and we played an 18 song set on two rehearsals including a song I learned the day prior. It was very surreal playing with my idols, definitely something I'll always look back on fondly!
Can totally understand that mate, I respect you and everyone else that performs live, I have two bands / projects but never plan to tour because I have stage fright, Even getting up and speaking to a crowd at battle of the bands made me want to hurl...
Oh wow decent set!! Amazing stuff mate! Memories to last a lifetime.
Ah, bummer to hear that. I hope there's a way you can overcome the stage fright somehow. I feel like the more you play with a band the less you get it as you get comfortable. But that's just me. Yeah it was a heck of a set, an hour and fifteen minutes is a lot for death metal! Thanks again man!
One of the bands is just me and a friend, he lives a few states away haha, He's in bands but we're doing a project together because we can, The other is just me and I'll not be getting anyone to play parts on it because the song I'm writing (Hopefully 15 minutes or so long) is about me and only me!
But I can totally understand that principle of as you do it feels more natural and ok, Like driving really.
Most welcome mate!
