Damage Festival 2014 day 2 (October 26th)

The Damage Festival is an indoor Festival in Paris created 2 years ago with a line-up generally composed by Modern Metal and Modern Hardcore Bands.
2014 was the 2nd edition of this festival and the line-up was composed by some modern Metal/Metalcore bands for the 1st day (which are absolutely not my kind of music) and the 2nd were progressive Metal bands (also known as "Djent" bands).
So the gig place was kinda original because "Le Cabaret Sauvage" is a Big top, the pit was in a circle shape and there were some tables around it like a restaurant -> awesome place to party!
The shows were amazing from the beginning to the end, almost flawless performance from all bands! I missed the first 2 bands Novelists and Tides From Nebula because I was giving some flyers at the entrance of the festival area, well...
The funny thing was some bands were very powerful in their set and encouraged the crowd to become wild (Like Monuments and After The Burial) whereas bands like Tesseract and Animals As Leaders were more ambient and calm. The contrast between the transition of those bands was original but it was really nice!
The most awesome gigs were Tesseract (/w the return of their previous vocalist, perfect gig), After The Burial (the violence without limits) and Monuments (crowdsurfers everywhere, announced the beginning of the madness in the place)
Also, The Algorithm was the most original band of the line-up (because this duo plays some Electro music with prog metal influence), really nice! (People were crowd surfing during The Algorithm's set!!)
Really nice venue, awesome place, really clean organisation, this is a festival to look on if you are into modern Metal bands.
