Welcome to the excellent Eastern Front Records DEEP in East Oakland here in the Bay Area. These photos were taken by me at the well-attended (although you wouldn't know it by looking at these photos) grand opening yesterday. Located in the type of area where the residents have bars installed over the windows of their homes & brought to us courtesy of the Bay Area's very own household name, namely Nuclear War Now! Productions, this is exactly the type of thing I've been clamoring about for the past few years. A real proper, actual underground Metal shop. Basically all Yosuke & co. need to do is fill up the empty spaces at floor level with CDs and put a bunch of posters on those largely blank walls. Support NWN!, Never Surrender Fest & Eastern Front Records!

Well, what's new is NWN! has just opened this shop and they & Iron Bonehead are bringing Never Surrender Fest to Oakland. I'm happy right now!

I love it and there is a shitload of legitimate underground Black Metal in there. Tons of great Death Metal too and all types of other great things as you can see in these photos!

I was in there for almost four hours looking through everything and talking to people including a few of my friends. That Moonblood box set alone is very expensive. It's one I've seen before.

Haha nice one mate, always easy to lose track of time talking Metal, yeah the Moonblood stuff is costly but not exactly official lots of boots the band doesn't get revenue from, unless they struck a deal I'm not aware of.
