Devoted 23 year old metalhead from Cuba living in the U.S. I listen to many types of music, but deep down inside the only thing that makes me feel like I am not alone at the worst of times is metal. But metal is just metal, unless it's black metal. Then, for me it becomes more than music, and evolves into a lifestyle, ideology, a passion, and a fight against religion. I live, breathe, and BLEED black metal. It channels my innermost negative emotions... keeping me sane. It's almost like a tool for me. Instead of taking out my mass amounts of aggression on people that may or may not deserve it, I try to release it through music, as if it were a filter. Black metal to me is special. Without it, I am nothing.
Aside from it, some other metal sub-genres I really enjoy are old-school thrash and old-school death metal. It's very rare for me to find modern bands in those styles that I actually like (especially for thrash metal), but it does happen from time to time. I also love folk metal (when done right), and some "viking" metal.
I listen to way too many bands to list, but unfortunately I must admit I only have a few rare shirts, and don't invest too much in them, but once in a while I stumble upon an online rarity and try to get it :)
I do however have a lot of rare vinyl, so there's something to look at. That is what I mostly collect.

Actually, I don't like being around a lot of people at once. I am a misanthrope, and people make me uncomfortable... not a big fan of the human race, especially when they are in big numbers. So, I tend to stay away from concerts.
