Not really. If you sing about worshiping Pan, you're not attacking chistianity. You are simply just rejecting it as your faith. If you don't put it into a context where Pan is used as a symbol of war againt christ, there is no attack going on. That's like saing nuclear power is just a destructive force when it clearly can be used as a source for energy as well. There is always two sides of the coin.

In Solitude u are 13 years old and obviously you are way too clueless, so please leave black metal lectures to others. Black metal movement never started by Mayhem and definitely not by Darkthrone. Mayhem might be one of the first second wave bands but not the only one. Just so you understand how idiotic your comments are you say that black metal is supposed to "smell church smoke" while emperor members were mainly behind most of the church burnings during that era. Euronymous only participated in one, because the others were making fun of him as he was too scared...

As said I was referring to black metal overall, but used Darkthrone metaphore. And Darkthrone were early singing about the forest, northern darkness etc etc. Aswell as the idea of black hair, corpsepaint. Of course people have done it before, But not used it in the same way.. Emperor just took that thing. But just like all bands, of course you develop your own style in some way. For example I haven't found many bands that sound like Emperor musically.
