I bought a Celtic frost "morbid tales" shirt at that store a few years ago, got it at a discount too, because for some odd reason the emo kids and swag fags just weren't snapping them up so all the frost shirts were marked down

In Solitude and Wampyric Rites, in the US, Hot Topic is geared mainly towards hip hop, metalcore, pop and gimmick groups like Twiztid and Insane Clown Posse. But, over the past year or so, I am starting to see more real metal shirts popping up. A lot of Iron Maiden, Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, etc. For me to find these two shirts was a huge surprise! I did see some Amon Amarth, Immortal and Suffocation at one point.

I found a Beneath The Remains shirt in their discount racks for $8 once. I used to get Metallica, Iron Maiden etc shirts there as a wee lad too.

Can't believe they had a DEATH shirt! Last time I was there they had the typical "core" garbage T's, the typical "I only wear it because it looks cool Misfits, Slayer, etc, and freaking Justin Beiber, and DUCK DYNASTY... WTF?! Are you sh**ing me? Leave Duck Dynasty to Walmart where all the rednecks shop!

I'm not much into hot topic or every going into one of those emo stores but when I did I saw a Iron Maiden shirt in there. but the rest was just emo bands like: black veil brides, sleeping with sirens etc.

Exactly, that's why we're surprised they carry death/obituary stuff. Also, a lot of my friends are into piercings and apparently they have good prices on that sort of thing, go figure

I'm honestly surprised that those emos even new who death was lmao. Let alone carry there shirts. Next they're probably going to have quorthon and bathory shirts in there. I hope they never will. but still that's a great collection of shirts.

I did just see a Mayhem "De Myseriis Dom Sathanas" shirt in Hot Topic, and a friend of mine did pick up a Bathory shirt and said that he got it at Hot Topic.

I've noticed they carry some vintage style maiden shirts that look decent. I don't really like buying band merch from there though. I buy the comic , video game and anime stuff from there lol
