Fan Club only shirt from 1983.
Crazy strange idea to print this shirt based on the track from 1982's Number of the Beast LP in 1983. The song was never released as a single, hence the lack of any Eddie artwork. Go figure.
FC merch sheet 83 with the 'new design' listed.
FC merch sheet from late 83 showing the design.
Hardware merch book late 84.
Nicko wearing one in Nottingham 1984.
if i remember right, Homer was also captured on a island, with a Koala who is wearing a monocle etc. a Telephon-Cell which knocks out homer with gas...and so on :P was funny..haha
"The Prisoner" from the "The Number of the Beast" album is inspired by the TV series of the same name. Actually, the voice at the beginning of the track is Patrick McGoohan who was starring at the TV series!!!
I agree, very strange choice for the emerging metal band of 82. Probably the first and last shirt they ever made not featuring either Eddie or the band's logo. I have the FC merch sheet from the time with the shirt on it..

Five stars because of this being based on one of, if not the best series ever!
