Ok, so I realize some of these albums are not metal, or some are "poser" metal albums. So be it. The Warren Haynes album, the Gov't Mule album, and the Rage Against The Machine albums are all my Dad's. I dont consider Rage Against The Machine a metal band, but I do like some of their stuff. It also seems that my CD collection is "not complete" and there are CDs that I lack that are essential. My parents own a lot of those essential CDs. I decided not to show them because they decided 5 years ago to get rid of all the CD cases because they didn't have the room to store them.

I got this t-shirt at the Wamu Theater @ Madison Square Garden, when I went to see Heaven and Hell. Coheed and Cambria opened up for them but I missed them. What makes this shirt so important to me is that this was one of Ronnie James Dio's last concerts (literally he played his last concert exactly 4 days later). I remember after hearing that he passed away, I dont think I took this shirt off for a week. It's an official concert tee. What an amazingly EPIC show that was, Dio was on it that night!

I got it as a denim jacket for Christmas two years ago. I used to have an Iron Maiden-Killers back patch on here, but I removed it because Killers is not my favorite album, nor my favorite album by Iron Maiden. I cut the sleeves off in March. The Megadeth back patch was ripped when I was trying to center it better.

Updated my Kutte a bit, some new patches, but still too many free space (but it isn't even a year old, so that's ok).

The smaller pic shows the Sodom-logo I embroidered directly onto the vest, and the Piranha-patch (band of some friends ==> myspace/piranha.band) I made out of a swimming badge (that's why there's a cross on it; originally that's a swiss cross, but I elongated it a bit upwards).

At 46 I finally realized that I was missing this in my life. Been headbanging since 1980 and had collected some patches, but never got around to doing anything with them. Found this site and realized I needed to get my ass in gear and get my Kutte made. Bought the jacket off ebay from TX (where I grew up and went to my 1st concert). Some patches were given to me by some other metal friends, then went on a buying spree over the last month. Then been sewing them on like an obsessed Metal Head. I've got a couple of more on order, but this is pretty much the state of things as of June 2010.

Okay, so this is my first upload here to show my first vest I've made. It is nothing fancy and the patches aren't that rare. I've made it based on my own personal taste of music.

The Stone and D.R.I. patches are DIY as you can see.
And just finished studding it.

This vest ain't finished, and this is planned to be a life-long process, if I can say. :D Still many bands are missing a patch they deserve on this jacket. More to come in the future.

And btw, the thing coming from the left pocket is a bottle opener on a string :D

Bootleg from their first reunion. I'm so sad about all the Dio's long fight against Cancer and how have it all ended. I've seen Dio perform in small venues and in big festival's stages, also I've seen Heaven and Hell headlining the Gods of metal fest, all of them are memories that I'll keep with me forever specially when I had the chance of meeting him. It's a sad day for heavy metal.

My updated Denim Vest. Alot has changed, it has 54 patches if I counted right, about 150€ worth in patches. Almost all embroidered, only 6 are printed. Pockets are still usable. Now looking for punk and vintage patches to add to it :)
