Oh man that would have been great, they were here in Gothenburg as supporting act to Metallica in -87, but the show was cancelled because of Metallica´s truck´s were snowed in. I wasn´t there, but some friends of mine was and they met Metal Church, great guys!
When Metallica came back a month after i was there and saw the gig, but then it was King Diamond as supporting act (I saw KD 3 times that year) i would rather have seen Metal Church....
yeah, that would have been great.. well King Diamond ain't bad of course.... i didn't see David Wayne in the old days, but in the Masterpeace -phase... like at Wacken 1999..... the album wasn't really great.... but it was great so see them live
Remember it like yesterday, i had a horrible hangover from the first night at the site :) hahaha!!!
Had to get up quite early to film mates of mine who played that year, that was tough tell you :).
ah, that's a great band !!!! But i really can't remeber if we saw them that year.... what i do remember it was very chaotic schedule/ running order-wise.... missed a couple of good bands of that.... well, and of course being intoxicated hahaha
Ha cool that you know them, not really my stuff but at the time great friends.
I remember i missed Warrant because i was wet, drunk a tired and had to take a nap.
Of course missed the show.
Sacred Steel replaced Marduk also, i would have loved to see Sacred Steel but did not know of it.
