I've heard the soul patch is kind of a tricky one to obtain, I had a goat for a while.....and no, no long responses for polls....If it had asked opinions on *hair* metal though, well...now that would be a different situation all together ahahaha! =_-
I got some strange facial hair going on... puberty hit me hard at an early age so I've had a goatee since I was 14. I also don't shave my beard, I just trim really low. My goatee isn't lonely though, because for some reason I have a blonde soul patch (naturally blonde, somehow).
So I guess it's a mix? Mostly goatee though. I've never shaven the thing off, and I never will.

Clean shaven for me, i once tried to grow a goatee but it turned out to look like shit and look more like a beard than a goatee so i shaved it off.

Interesting to see that there are more clean shaven people here than I originally thought. I'm clean shaven, much to my distaste, I just can't grow any significant amount of hair and I have to shave after 3 weeks because it looks bad. I noticed that slightly more grows in every year, and at a slightly faster rate, so I guess that's my only consolation, I'll check back in a few years XD.

I'm clean shaven right now....do I regret getting rid of the goat?.. well FUCK!..I sure do...I can say that was the worst idea ever,..but eh, I'm more comfortable clean shaven than I felt when I was bald on the top of my head. I'm going to grow back my goatee maybe after the summer, I think hair grows faster when it's shaved more often...so maybe I can grow a longer goatee, but I do miss being able to stroke it and look like I'm deep in thought while doing so o_o
I'd like to grow a beard, but that will never happen...my facial hair grows slowly(chin/neck-beard area) however, I can grow a wicked 'pedro gonzalez' stache...a.k.a typical Mexican looking mustache look and I really hate it, but I have tried it....aha.

I feel your pain man... I used to have a pretty nice goatee up to 3 months ago. It started with a beard-off me and my friend did, he was going to make a 2 year long trip around the world so the day before he left we shaved all of our facial hair and we would see who had the longest beard when he came back. I won by a long shot, it was about 12 centimeters in length.
one morning, after a night on the piss, I wanted to trim it a little but I realized too late that I was still drunk. messed it up so bad that I was better off getting rid of the entire thing. was proper gutted about it, like you said I really miss stroking it, I felt naked without it :P I'm growing it back, but my beard does grow pretty slowly... I've got a long way to go to restore it to it's former glory,
