But forget the red, or any other coloured border.
That makes bootleg patches look ridiculous...

Ridiculous? Why? I think it looks ridiculous as it is. I really think it needs more color, so the red or yellow borders would look better. At least in my opinion.

Bootleg patches with coloured borders look stupid, but that´s just my opinion.

The logo needs to be WAY bigger ... And instead of a red boarder, try yellow. It would draw more attention to it. Same yellow you have as the stroke on the logo.
