This to me is one of the best of the modern wave of Norwegian black metal bands.
Now, they haven't released much, just a few demos and two EPs. This is one of their EPs. It's a Mini one-sided LP since it's a short release, but every second of this is pure occult madness! Cold, droning music for the black metal purists.

This band blew me away instantly when I first heard them!
5 Flames an no less...Mare is probably one of the few remaining bands other than Beastcraft and Blodsrit that I actually like, from Norway. Even though I have only heard some samples on youtube, I can tell..this is a truly cold black metal gem to own..and a great little EP. Love the photos and ...once again, being the sucker for logo's...I have to also say that theirs is quite good. Anyways...nice occult find here.

If you like Mare you might like One Tail, One Head. Check them out if you haven't already done so. I love them, and I can't fucking wait for a full-length vinyl release. Those teasing bastards!

Yeah One Tail, One Head is great also but I think Mare is even better. They really have a full length coming? I guess thats one more album to look forward to!
Well no, they haven't announced anything yet but I'm sure it will happen someday. That's what I meant by that.
I do like Mare a little more as well, so I would also love a full-length from them.
