Surely the issue is not whether or not the 'Knot are metal, its wheteher this shirt is any good or (K)not.
And it isn't. Its a poor design. In fact I don't think I've seen a Slipknot tshirt i actually like ever, regardless of what i think of their music. They kind of remind me of WWE shirts more than metal shirts for some reason.....

I've already stated my opinion. Slipknot IS metal, their second album (which is wrongly listed as their first in the pic), is definitely nu-metal (which I consider a branch of metal anyway, but if the metal nazis want their genre aryan and pure, fine) but their last two are quite unmistakably metal.
As for the shirt itself, I also think it's very mediocre, I don't like pictures of the band much, very few of those are cool but what I really want to comment on, is that I see that most members voted on this shirt. Which is quite telling, considering that most people felt the need to vote negatively while most of the times don't bother to vote on cool shit. If it's Slipknot, great, all over it to defend metal purity. A cool Slayer shirt, why bother, right?
dungeonvic i think we were separated at birth i think the same thing. heres the whole thing in a nutshell if i hate a band i dont talk about them cause any publicity is good publicity. i would rather not talk about a band i hate and hope they fucking go away. having said that i am not a slipknot fan but their shirts deserve to be seen here just as much as any other shirts. i only really buy vintage shirts but u dont see me bashing people who buy reprints because its not my place and a lot of time reprints or bootleg shirts look better. this is a place for reprints and vintage and all forms of metal

Different age groups means different types of metal fans. Whether it's Thrash,Death Metal,Hardcore,or even nu-metal we all have or own likes and dislikes when it comes to metal. That's what I love about this site.
I don't like Slipknot at all but I don't know what you guys are on about, Slipknot definitely are metal.
They're commercial and a ton of scenesters love them, but they're still a metal band.
Saying things like "Slipknot aren't metal" just removes some of the credibility of future statements.

Why do people get mad when someone votes negative or talks shit about postings? People should be able to dislike something. Thats why people put their shit on tshirtslayer, so others can see. And if it's slipknot, then of course it will be hated. At least the owner of this entry didnt bitch about their slipknot shirt being disliked, like some of the other crybabies. Slipknot will be tolerated on tshirtslayer, but never liked, that should go without saying.

Nice shirt. Not too big of a Slipknot fan anymore though, but I consider them a metal band since I know they're miles away from Limp Bizkit or Linkin Park.

If i'm honest, Slipknot is the band that introduced me into Heavy Metal, so i can't exactly complain. But i think most people 'grow out' of that phase ;)
