3rd version of my jacket, nearlly done now. I got a lot of the patches on the front og my jacket from hellfest this year, my destruction patch got signed there an all though it just looks like a scribble. Got the inside of my jacket signed by Dark Tranquility at the top, Vader and Sodom at the bottom

I have been considering to buy that WoI patch as well but I have just been too lazy to order it, haha.
Blüdrayne said: :( i'll check back in a week. i should be doing my assignments anyway.
R.J. said: Damn that shit is overpriced. It's only $4 through FPR ($3 for the smaller patches) and $1.25 for shipping on multiple patches.
R.J. said: I have this shirt and the outer isolation shirt from the tour. This one looks the same. Can't wait for these guys to come back through here later this summer.

metal_thrashing_dad said: Too bad they are not invading Greece. I'd love to catch them live. I totally agree, one of the best new wave thrash bands.
R.J. said: Ohh, you know what.. They said they were going to be closed for about a week or so. :(
dungeonvic said: Really? A shame, I saw quite a few of the villagers ;) I was wearing the No Place for Disgrace shirt, so if you saw that, that was me :P
If I can make it to the Sacred Reich gig we're gonna meet for sure!
Blüdrayne said: website doesnt seem to be working for me. keeps saying that i "do not have access to view this tab within the portal.". damn. any idea?

metal_thrashing_dad said: Glad you liked my new shirts, really hope to talk to you at the Sacred Reich show. I didn't know that you came to the Psychotic Waltz show, i was there too!!! Take care...
doomy1 said: it was a free gift included in a parcel from ebay, i have no idea why, but its a great bonus.
dungeonvic said: I know, I got the mail about the 5 year anniversary and logged in to see what's up!
Thanks for the welcome! :) I see your collection has grown. Killer Bruce Dickinson shirt (I was there too and I also do not remember any merch sold). Great Chaos AD, Annihilator shirts and that utterly awesome Doris jersey. I've been musing about getting one fsince they brought it in their shop but I hate the postage...
...there's a slight chance we might talk at the Sacred Reich gig :)

metal_thrashing_dad said: Welcome back, it's been to long we missed you!!! An a nice shirt as well.

The only thing I don't like is the vertical placement of the Def Leppard and Ice Earth patches. My opinion only.
yeah I agree, I didn't have anywhere else to put them though. I wanted to keep the whole of one side black white and red, the other with the coloured patches and ran out of space. Maybe I'll figure something out in future. Cheers for the flames man :D
I'd move them both to below the NIN and run them from the back to flush right below the NIN. That would fill it up to the bottom and still give you some room.
hmm good idea, only thing is it would inflict with the colour scheme thing I've been doing. This jacket is constantly changing anyway so anything could happen!
I love what you have done witht he back, the megadeth Cutouts and such!
thanks man, I still think their isn't enough Megadeth on it :P
Love it! The 'coloured side' looks really full and the vertical IE/DL patches fill up that space nicely! Doesn't look planned at all and I like that there's hardly any space showing (apart from the bit you have yet to patch obv). NIce work! I'll keep an eye out for this one at gigs!
I wanted to fit as many patches on as I could, even if I had to over lap and turn some of em on their side, it worked out. Cheers for the feedback. I'll be in the pit at Anvil in a few weeks time :D If you're round London, you'll definitely see me at most metal gigs there
Is that a Status Quo patch too? Haha! Awesome!
I live up near Manchester so don't get to many London gigs. Hoping to get to more in the future though! You off to BOA this year?
But of course, Satus Quo rule. Only they can make the same few chords sound good over and over again lol.
London sucks but we do get the best gigs, it's about the only reason worth living here I think! I won't be going BOA this year, there are only a handfull of bands I like. Not enough thrash for me either. Shame really because I've wanted to go for a long time. I asume you'll be going, who are you looking forward to seeing?
Apologies for the slow reply! Yeah I'm going but I think this year's lineup is the best festival lineup of the year. :)
I'm looking forward to seeing a shitload of bands but I know half of em will clash!
Looking forward to Kreator, Forbidden, Wolf, Byfrost, Arthemis, Brezno, Immortal, Rhapsody of Fire, Wintersun, Finntroll, Grave Digger, Angelwitch, Motorhead, Morbid Angel, Hammerfall, Exodus, Primordial, 1349, Power Quest and Primitai... as well as a few others I'll watch out of curiosity. Most of these bands I've seen before but not enough for me to get bored by them.
On the thrash side there's enough for me... still wish Tankard were playing though!
I reckon Hellfest were the best hands down. The line up for Bloodstock is totally not my thing and I wasn't impressed by the headliners (though I wasnt that in to the headliners at Hellfest, but the rest of the line up definitely won me over). Not many festivals host loads of thrash bands, pure fact is everyone would be knackered by the end of the day because I know I wouldnt stop rattling my head for a second. Cant win em all eh :) hope you have a great time there though man
Electric Wizard, hell yeah
they rule! shame I missed em at Hellfest (I got too drunk beforehand when I should have been getting stoned!)
