Back when Metallica ruled the world...and all my income from working the overnight shift at a gas station went towards purchasing Metallica shirts! I worked at that goddamn gas station the day the Monsters of Rock festival was in Philly, and I talked to lots of people coming back from the show that stopped there to buy gas, smokes, condoms, papers, etc. I remember feeling like the biggest chump alive for working instead of going to that show. I still do...

Awww man, the memories are killing me. I had this shirt, bought it at the Monsters of Rock show at Giants Stadium in 1988. That was the first time I saw Metallica, and they totally ruled (even though I had shitty seats, haha) I had lots n lots of Metallica shirts back then but this was my all time favorite. I wore it till it was in tatters and finally had to put it out of its misery.
I wasn't even born in '88, geez I wish I saw them back then
Dang, now I feel old. I was 18 in 1988. Haha!
