Actual jacket / vest was originally my elder brother's vest in the mid 80's filled with basic Heavy Metal patches and pins (Venom, Bathory, I.Maiden, Razor etc). At some point I adopted the vest. Unfortunately I didn't use it that much and it was left on the attic. I suppose I was too much into död / black metal beginning of the 90's and next ten years!?! Anyways I found vest again somewhere in mid 2000 and removed those few patches what was left on it and started from scratch.
Vest contains mostly bands I used to listen 88-93, but whole bunch of new bands also.
Vest also contains some custom patches, because i couldn't find them anywhere at the time. So I had do it myself. I did layouts with photoshop and send files to Mad Patcher, Italy. So, If you see some of following printed patches around, theres's little chance that they might be originally made by me: Abhorrence (fin), Strid (square, logo just fit in), Thou Shalt Suffer, Pan.Thy.Monium (dawn of dreams, sky background, color + small backpatch), Winter, Kvist and Carbonized. Well, nowadays I have seen many of those made by someone else and more professionally (even embroided) than my versions.

Reason for some kind of rare/htf thing is because there's some custom patches. Meaning i'll did designs in photoshop and files were printed and cutted by Mad Patcher. I also print few of them myself (Leviathan and Master's Hammer > that's horribly messy one ;).
I think most of the patches i have collected in 1-2 years, not sure. Death - Spiritual Healing patch is only original one, from 1990. It's not even my favorite record from Death.
All in all nothing special, just basic bands, which have had strong impact on me at the times.
Badass. Cool gauntlets. I have spiked ones. Will those patches last a while or will you have to replace them?
Thx! I suppose they will last for a while. They got some dirt (mud, beer and cider;) on them, but they have survived without cracking from numerous gis and several festivals during 6-7 years.
Well, embroided patche has much better stamina and overall look than printed one.

But I really don't like jackets without a backpatch, Imo there should be "the one" band you on the back.
The back just somehow looks like the front.
I don't have The One". There's too many bands I like. Don't wanna put them in specific order. But yeah, i'ts also a visual issue. Back patch kind of frames the backside.
I used to have Bathory and Venom backpatches, but they took too much space. I had too many regular patches I wanted to attach to vest.

There were only couple of patches (Krokus, Motörhead, Manowar, Venom, Saxon..) left and I gave them back to my brother.
Can't remember any pictures of vest in it's original form. Need to ask my brother.

Many years ago I couldn't find Strid patches anyhere, so i had to do one by myself. The real problem was lack of hi-resolution logo images on internet. Also I couldn't use demo, cd or even 7"Ep logos I own, coz they all are totally low resolution images. So, I downloaded the largest file i could find. Logo was messy as hell of course. I had to clean and almost entirely draw it again with photoshop. The result was poor, but ok enough to get unique patch. Finally I send modified file to Mad Patcher and they printed me this patch.

Not that much. It is just a vest with full of patches. Maybe all extra stuff (belts and so) in the image gives an idea it weights a lot.

No. It was one of those patches I couldn't find anywhere, so I had to create one by myself with help of mad patcher. I think Dap666 has embroided Kvist patches.

This vest is primarily black metal. Thus, the fact that it has any color other than red beyond black and white is a lot. Also, a kutte with a backpatch is archetypal, not mandatory.
