I really like what I've heard from old Behemoth. I don't really even try new Behemoth. I have to hand it to them though, when I was getting into metal, there was a certain new song that blew my fuckin mind for a little while. I had it from some sampler.
old behemoth was the best, the music had more atmosphere to it and the lyrics had that mystic feel, but at the same time their new stuff (mainly from the last three albums) just has that overly crushing feeling of bestial rage behind it makes up for the lost atmosphere
oh ya and rob darken did some key board work on a few of the early ep's but i dont know which ones off the top of my head

I can't stand new Behemoth. They're not bad, but I just get bored listening to any of their material after Grom. This era of Behemoth is amazing though!
Behemoth was one of the first bands i got into, and one of the only bands i still fully support from my early days. I like demigod, zos kia, and especially Satanica, but early behemoth will always be my favorite.
I cant wait for Nergal to get better and bring behemoth to the states, to make up for the lost Behemoth/Watain tour.
And where did you get the cd? Did this come in a bundle pack or did you buy em seperate?
i got em seperate. in a shocking development i found the cd at a local record store
