$35 is an awful lot for a paper copy, probably have to pay for shipping/packing on top of that...says it's intended to be framed, then you have to go out and buy a frame...for 35 bucks they ought to include the frame and ship it for free!

Joel's picture

Yeah, that'd be nice. Unfortunately it's not the case. I'll spare no expense decorating my room!

Its amazing and beautiful artwork no doubt, But overpriced for something not framed, Plus you don't know what the print quality is like, If it got sunlight etc.

Your call! Be sure to post pictures once its up if you buy it ;)

Joel's picture

I think I may just go with Meaningless' advice.

Nater90's picture

Hell yeah, Its an awesome idea!

R.J.'s picture

The description says it uses archival ink on pro photo paper. This thing isn't going to fade in sunlight.

hm...size is 12" ....its a bit small...for 35" ..its cheaper u buy the Re-Release LP, frame the Cover ..AND u can listen to the album as well...

Joel's picture

An intriguing option for sure. I will seriously consider that approach.

R.J.'s picture

The biggest difference is that the LP artwork will most likely fade over time due to sunlight. $35 is a little overpriced for a 12" print, but the quality of the materials as well as the resolution of the print will most likely be much better than what you get on an album cover.

Joel's picture

I think you've given the best advice yet man. I know it's overpriced, but it looks like it's a very high quality print.

You're also going to get a reproduction most faithful to the original artwork with the print. The equipment used to print these types of things is more accurate than the printers used for LP sleeves and the people using them are looking to get as accurate a copy as possible. Just look at the variation in color between different vinyl presses and compare it to the original on Dan Seagrave's website:

I've gotta say R. J., you're a fantastic salesman. I think I'm sold on buying this thing. Thanks man!

R.J.'s picture

Haha. Glad I could help.

DevilzForce's picture

got the original poster in museum quality glass frame..... so no thanks.... 35 bucks is an okay price for the quality given

Joel's picture

So, you don't think it's worth it?

DevilzForce's picture

i meant that i don't need it as i have the original a3poster at home in fadeproof glass....i said that 35 bucks is an decent price for archival ink on good quality photopaper ;)

Joel's picture

Oh, okay. So you must be in the same camp as R. J. I feel even more comfortable buying this print now.

Doktor Kananga's picture

Would definetly pay 35 bucks for this.
Of course you could buy a re-issue Vinyl and frame the cover, but I go with R.J. on this one.
Plus: I really like that the album title and the Entombed logo are not printed on this one as well...
Looks more bad-ass this way.

Joel's picture

Yeah, I agree. That way you can look at it in it's original form.
