Tough choice to make
About 5 minutes ago I found out Voivod are playing London on the 7th October. Having seen them before I nearly shat myself in excitement, until I noticed Over Kill were also playing another venue up the road on THE SAME FUCKING DAY. I love them both equally and can't decide. I have seen them both live which makes it even harder. Either way I will be happy but I am incredibly indecisive. I ask you, my metal friends to help me choose by voting either Over Kill or Voivod, most votes for whatever band is the gig I will go to. Both will be worth it I am sure

I painted it. Used acrylic paint, scraps off a pair of pants, dried the paint with a hairdryer.

tbh, the local "scene" must'n be very cohesive if the few promoters present manage to create such a problem. i wouldnt be able to really decide either. but if pushed i'd say overkill would provide the more entertaining performance and go for them instead.

voivods a cool band, but id go with overkill. i found voivod to be unreliable as they set up this big tour across canada, and they cancled it at the last second, and i didnt get a refund for my ticket. i still like voivod, but im still a bit bitter at that.

Over Kill played a free gig last week which I won tickets for but couldnt go to coz I was on my way to Bloodstock, so thought I would catch them in October. Voivod never bloody play London, I had to go abroad to see them. Still such a hard decision.

Yeah...I saw that a few days ago, but I already have my tickets to see Overkill, so I'm kinda stuck with that. But I was absolutely furious that something like this could happen. Two great bands on the same day. Fucking sucks :/

blame filler dates for bigger festivals for that, we had the same thing here with some deathmetal bands coming in only one or two days apart

yeah they must be, gigs usually start around 7.30 and end at half 10/11. So not much chance I can try catch both.

Since you said you've seen Voivod before, I would go with seeing Overkill. I saw Overkill live back in April and they kicked ass! Yeah man tough choice. Going to be badass either show you pick.

I'd definitly go for Voivod, but it's my personnal taste, I guess it's up to you haha You might have more opportunity to see Overkill, I don't know how it is where you live, but I guess you have (They're pretty much never in France though)

I haven't heard a lot of Voivods stuff, but from what I heard of them I liked them, my uncle told me that they don't sound the same anymore though. Besides, Overkill is my number one favorite Thrash band, so I say Overkill. It sucks, I was suppose to see Overkill in San Francisco here in the U.S. but the show got fucking cancelled for some reason... just my luck.

OverKill because if I'm not mistaken 3 Inches of Blood is on the tour with Overkill and for me thats a must see show.
