Just jump in, push, run around, whatever. Don't be one of those douchebags who get in and start kicking and punching people. Shit does happen though so if you hurt someone flash them the horns or something. If someone gets knocked down, help them up. Over all, just have a good time.

Fuck the mentality that you need to be the toughest thing at the show. Metalheads really ruined the moshpit in my opinion. Moshing isnt shoving and swinging at people, actually. Its what you young kids think is moshing. Yes, moshing nowadays is shoving....it wasnt 15 years ago at hardcore/punk shows. The assholes that shoved got beat down for being, well, assholes. Shove pits are not fun, I hate that toughguy bullshit.

The first thing to consider for EVERYONE should be "is this the right show for a moshpit?". I'd like to see the shows of bands like Running Wild, Judas Priest, Raven etc. without some short-haired fags forcing their moshpit on because "hey we're at a METAL show we must get a MOSH PIT done"... Fuck Off!!!

Depending on what kind of show you're at, just adapt to whatever feels right. It took me a few shows to learn, so take your time, as there isn't much help one can get online for moshing, unless it's to learn Punk/Hardcore dance moves, and even most of those videos were made as jokes haha.

Sólo dejate llevar..entra al Mosh cuando éste no esté muuy "agresivo" para que poco a poco comiences a aclimatarte, y bueno, todo lo demás sucederá de forma natural

Don't wave your arms around like an idiot. Don't hit or kick people, you're not really supposed to hurt eachother in the pit.. Other than that, just have fun slamming around really
