Patches: Woven vs. Embroidered vs. printed
Im following the comments on patches since months now..and i rly ask myself:
What u guys'n' girls are prefering?
Woven?
Embroidered?
Printed?
I saw often 'flaming' against printed ones - why?
Some Printed gets comments like: Hell, yeah, òle, great..blabla
and other printed gets: bah, bad quality etc etc.
Optical in a pic - they look all nice - imo. where is the difference?
Myself: im prefering Woven > Embroidered > Printed.
btw. there are different print-types. some are good some are bad (i guess) . which type u think its a 'Good'-print-type?

hahahahaha :D the problem with this patch is: it looks so ugly! :D the shield patches are better i think^^they had sold some new shield patches with this Backpatch...i will upload a picture of them later.

I think woven is the best, because the colors mostly look vibrant and printed patches tend to look lifeless and drab.

Woven for more complex designs. Embroidered for logo patches. Printed only for backpatches, sometimes.

Aint easy to say. Woven are great, some embroidered too (especially the Iron Kobra patches, and of course my self embroidered Master patch!).
And old "Siebdrücke" (some please translate it) are also awesome as fuck. Mainly the Slayer stuff I have :D

I have a Nuclear Assault one, with the Nuclear-Smily on it, its pretty nice imo. ..and never saw it as woven or embroidered.
Personal im prefering woven too..much more over the rest ;)

I have some printed patches, most of them are great, but I prefer woven ones. If there exists a woven version of a patch I try to get it.
But for logo patches I prefer embroided ones, because I often shape them.

I like my punk logo patches printed and I think I will do the same for a big Midnight above my backpatch, but apart from that Woven > Embroidered > Printed.

I prefer woven, licensed patches. My girlfriend is into punk, and she likes the printed stuff. Printed works for the whole DIY thing that punk has. But for me, I definitely love the quality of a woven patch over everything else. Its just a shame that so many bands dont have woven patches.
Embroidered definetly for me.That's what I have on my jacket.

i like every kind of patch in my jacket, sew a lot of woven make that the jacket look like a album cards in an album, and sreen printed are pretty cool if they are made with quality and love, i really don´t like sublimated printing, those looks more like a card.

For album art woven are best. For logos it's embroidered, and printed for back patches.. so all are great.
