"Ever since it was announced that metal icons Judas Priest would be unleashing their 17th studio album overall, 'Redeemer of Souls' (on July 8, 2014), their legion of fans have been wondering if the band would be launching a supporting tour. And the answer is a resounding YES - Priest will be touring the US in the fall, with dates running throughout October and for most of November. Priest start their stateside tour on my 30th birthday! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!!!!! You live in upstate NY, so you'll probably attend that show in Rochester. I WILL be attending that show in San Jose. I want to see these aging legends before they retire for good!
Judas Priestess on
Yep! That's the one I'm going to, can't wait!
Joel on
I'm looking at the City National Civic's homepage on another tab right now. They haven't posted anything on Priest yet as far as I can see, so I'll be checking back in frequently. I'm giddy right now! I'm gonna bring a sharpie with me. Hopefully I can get a place in the front row and just maybe I can get Halford and Tipton to sign my Stained Class BP!

Man, fuck this state. Quite a few good tours this year and there isn't jack shit coming here.
DethronedEmperor23 on
not trying to start anything but i dont remember all this hype they got to when they were going on a fairwell tour (which I went to, was awesome), so something seems "odd" about this.
Judas Priestess on
I'm not speaking for others but if I had to guess a lot of the hype probably comes from them releasing their first studio album in 8 years. Plus I'm sure some people thought they were done touring for good so this announcement came as a nice surprise.

Nostradamus came out in 2006, that's 8 years.

OMG, PRIESTESS USED A NAUGHTY WORD!!!!!!
Seriously, that's the first time I've seen something like that come from you!
Nater90 on
Omg Priestess made a mistake about JP!!!! Omg!!!! Hehe :)
Joel on
Yeah, no shit! That's even more eyebrow-raising!
Nater90 on
You said shit!!!! Swear jar bwahahahahaha :+ Indeed it is, I was shocked as hell!
Joel on
Yeah, but I think people expect that kind of language from me. I think Priestess knowing she initially got it wrong is what it took to bring out that kind of response from her.
Nater90 on
True, Was piss funny xD
Judas Priestess on
I hope not! :)
