Eliminator (New Jersey) are becoming too inconsistent musically. Find a sound and stick with it for fucks sake!

I believe in progression (when it is done right) but progression that has excellent results takes time and patience. It fucking sucks for me. I became a fan of these guys right before their first album came out after Warchild contacted me via MySpace years ago back when my high school band was still active. They are just confusing the fuck out of me now.

Killer vocals! This release gave me a "Persecution Mania"/"Tapping The Vein" vibe when I first sat down and listened to it. This album wasn't perfect though. The double bass is triggered on some tracks and is organic sounding on others. An interesting but weird contrast if you ask me. But, I was able to get past that and still fully enjoy the album.

It's not bad but it's not that great either. I can definitely see what they where going for here though. I get a Sacred Reich feel with some of the riffs which is all fine and dandy in my book. Here they just sound like all other retro bands out there currently. Nothing stands out here that much.

WHAT THE FUCK? Why ruin a song that was good to begin with? It was fine the way it was. The vocals do their job here and there but it just seems like a mess in certain guitar parts. I like raw production but this just feels awkward.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. I'll always cherish the memories of the good stuff they put out. I don't really hate them for this though. It's just not my thing. That's all. Best of luck to Eliminator in future endeavors but it's just not the Eliminator I know and love.
