ToxikAssault on
I once saw Exodus live video where Baloff was wearing CCCP hockey jersey.

This is an unofficial patch from Russia. The communist signs are in memory to his origin.
Blüdrayne on
i have no idea, but aesthetically this patch is cool. not sure if i would wear it though. not sure if i would want to support communism.
PowerThrashingDeath on
You could decide for yourself if you wear it in honor for the communism or for Baloff, my guess is you have it in honor of Baloff so I personaly would wear it. If people give you shit about it.. so it be, you know where you stand for.

He was no Communist. In fact, The last name Baloff is Russian as for of origin of the last name goes. He even wore a CCCP shirt with his other band Piranha. The Bare Area scene had quite a few people from Russia. Lee Altus of Heathen is actually from Russia. Heck, even Baloff had a short stint with that band. the more you know! Eh, people give us headbangers shit for wearing "obscene and offensive" stuff all the time. So, it shouldn't matter what some asshole thinks. If you like the patch then that is all that should matter. Lemmy of Motorhead and Jeff of Slayer collect Nazi memorabilia but are they Nazi's? NO!
