haha, i just went off on a rant about this on Facebook... well heres my take on it: in some ways Politics and Metal just don't mix. these people paid 50-200 bux to see Megadeth play, not to hear Mustaine and his crazy conspiracies, its fine if he wants to write a song expressing his dissatisfaction with American government, but don't sit there preaching your stupid beliefs when these fans just want to hear some fucking music. And being from Colorado, i know plenty of people who were effected by the Aurora shooting, i even know a couple people who were in the theater while it happened, and hearing him say it was staged by the president to create gun restrictions (even though i don't necessarily believe in gun control) really pisses me off. Just stick to what you do best Mustaine, get on that fucking stage, play your songs, and walk off the stage, nobody wants to hear your political bullshit
