I think there is already a topic similar to this. I guess for me, Slayer. Never got into them really, just doesn't hold my attention. I'm sure I'll get some hate for that.
I actually agree, maybe it's because I'm not a big fan of thrash. I enjoy all there big songs like Raining Blood, Dead Skin mask etc, but that's about it...
Blind Guardian, i just don't get it. I have seen them play at festivals and i have got some of their albums and still i can't get into them, i think it is the vocals.
+1 Battalions...through Somewhere Far Beyond are the only albums I can honestly say aren't bad. Which sadly for me isn't saying much.
Iced Earth does absolutely nothing for me either.
Death Angel. Bought Act III years ago, listened to other songs from other albums on youtube, none has ever appealed to me for whatever reason
Destruction. That's totally weird, since I like nearly all 80's German Thrash Bands like Sodom, Kreator, Protector, Darkness, Holy Moses, Assassin, Exumer, Violent Force, Tankard, Accu§er, Chainsaw, Minotaur, Necronomicon, Iron Angel and early Angel Dust.

Yea I agree with that, you either love or hate his voice, DT's my favorite band overall but LaBrie's voice can range from really good to really bad.
Destruction, Slayer, pretty much every black metal band, and most neo-thrash bands
oh, and Aerosmith, the Beatles, Queen, The Rolling Stones, and a lot of other popular classic rock bands
Ok... well let's see here. The biggest one I think in my list would be Slayer, I like about two albums... but most of their discography just bores me. I also do not like power metal, at all. Another big one that I just can't stand is Anthrax (I know, I know). And lastly, I love old-school death metal, and new bands that sound like that... but I can't stand the extra-gutteral, ultra-heavy, "brutal" overly-technical death metal. Believe me I've tried to give it a chance, more than once... but I just can't stand it. Not just because it's so technical that it doesn't sound like music to me, but also because it sounds like burping into a mic. One thing is for sure, one style of "metal" that I don't even want to give a chance to is glam metal. God damn I hate that shit.
Ohhh and by the way, when I say I don't like a band it doesn't mean that I don't recognize their talent. Some bands are talented but for some reason I just don't like them. Well... that is all except for glam metal.

Pantera, i can't stand if i have to listen the whole album, it made me sick(like nausea)... Maybe just for a few song like cemetery gates, 5 minutes alone, fucking hostile, a new leves, i'm broken, walk.. and that's it.
I don't say they're bad, Dimebag is a guitar god...
Pantera, I respect Dimebag, and I liked some of their early albums...but no matter what, I can't get into their later work...I can hardly listen to Cowboys From Hell, I'm not sure why...but they just don't interest me.

Possessed, Death, Entombed, Black Sabbath(only few songs I like), Sepultura(even early stuff) and King Diamond(yes, they are awesome, sometimes I do listen to their stuff, but something's just not right).
Blasphemy! I do have to say I agree with King Diamond, I like his MF stuff, but I really don't care for his solo stuff that much.
Probably every obscure brazilian blackthrash band from the late 80s.
I've never really gotten into Celtic Frost. Don't know why...
AC/DC. I've got a huge respect for them, but never actually liked their music, hence the fact that I ended up selling a couple of albums of theirs I used to own.

I enjoy Show No Mercy, Great album! Hell Awaits is ok... After that it's meh for me. I don't see the whole craze for them like thier fans have... everyone is diff I guess.
I think after Reign In Blood they started to get repetive but that's just me.

HOLY CRAP I can't believe I forgot KISS! That is probably the biggest band in the world that I just can't stand. I honestly don't understand why they are so beloved, I think they suck.

Sepultura, Anthrax (I got into the latest album), Pantera, King Diamond, Burzum. Oh, and just about every band I get a called a poser over not liking.
Kiss, Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. I'm starting to actually like Iron Maiden now, just took a really long time for them to click for me.
wtf... Iron Maiden, a long time ago i adore them, but since they act like a superstarshit while touring in my country, i stop listen to their song

It used to be HammerFall until a few weeks ago, I was actually into them a few years ago but the singer's voice started getting on my nerves (too thin). I checked out their more recent albums and found his voice has "matured", which prompted me to check them out again.
