Hell yeah, Great band.

Will be telling my co-hosts I ain't doing a show that week!

rusty74's picture

haha killer mate, will be a great gig to look forward to.

Nater90's picture

True that, Their one of the bands that got me into Black Metal back in the day.

Satyricon, 1349, Dimmu Borgir started it all for me.

I'd honestly love to meet Frost.

rusty74's picture

cheers, we've been lucky with some of bands coming out this way.

Blüdrayne's picture

I might be able to get back to Australia for this! I'd love to see 1349.
Any news on supports?

Nater90's picture

Me playing cowbell!!!!

I reckon most of the supports will be local bands.

The Bodysnatcher's picture

Awesome, they were great at Inferno in April, once the sound gremlins were sorted. Look forward to seeing them here in Aus early next year.

Denouncement Pyre & King Fate are supports for Melbourne.

Just brought t-shirt bundle.

Can't fucking wait.

rusty74's picture

Yeah I bought the package as well, wanted the patch and poster, I really hope Denouncement Pyre play support in Sydney.

Nater90's picture

Hell yeah, Is a great bundle price wise and what you get.

Have you seen them before? Their pretty wicked.

rusty74's picture

Yeah, when they supported Marduk the last time they came out, bought their CDs on the spot, looking forward to their new one

Nater90's picture

Awesome! Yeah that's when I saw em too.

I am going to buy CDs direct off them too.

Tazzie black metal band 'Ruins' support in Sydney, great band.

Nater90's picture

Still need to see Ruins, But indeed a great band, Enjoy bro.

rusty74's picture

After seeing 1349 last night I have say they were one of the best black metal bands I have seen live, great sound, stage presence and no crap talk between songs, awesome night.

Rotten's picture

Yeah, they were great - I think at first the volume was way too low but by mid set that was fixed. It was good bumping into you again - even if it was for a split second haha

rusty74's picture

yeah, great to say g'day and good to see enjoy the gig.

Nater90's picture

Was brutal as fuck! Amazing gig, So glad they played Sculptor of Flesh! Was the very first song I heard back in the day.

I bought some merch and was served by Dave Haley of Psycroptic etc, Sick dude.

Denouncement Pyre kicked ass, Good to see em again! and King Fate (King Diamond and Mercyful Fate) cover band, Was amazing! The vocalist is very fucking good.

rusty74's picture

Great to hear you had a ripper night mate, Denouncement Pyre are great live, Dave Haley & Ruins were pretty killer as well as Pestilential Shadows in Sydney....i picked up the latest 1349 disc at the gig and was surprised it came with a killer free patch inside, bloody Christmas all round.

Nater90's picture

Cheers.

Keen for their new album! They played some off it.

Hoping to see Ruins soon! Forgot to ask Dave if they had any shows in Melbourne soon...

Damn...Should've bought the CD! I wanted that edition to haha, Just thought being a gig would be the standard, Oh well, Will still be able to get it.

Pestilential Shadows are pretty cool, Checked em out a while back, Would like to see live.

The Bodysnatcher's picture

incredible show, I was so drunk I nearly broke my neck headbanging.

rusty74's picture

awesome mate, sounds like you had a great night, they were well worth the money i reckon.

Nater90's picture

Frost wasn't a part of the tour...Even though on the shirts and posters he was "advertised" but he was touring with Satyricon at the same time.

I was rather annoyed by it because he's one of my favourite Black Metal drummers.
