My Vest Version 1.0 - 1.1

Sup folks!

Here is my attempt at creating a personal vest.
I gotta say I'm not finished yet and compared to the majority of vests on this site,
it looks almost naked. :$
But I don't have many metal bands I really like and/or I haven't found a patch yet to show my respect.

I called it "Vest 1.0 - 1.1", because during a Jeff Loomis Clinic, my vest got signed.
So it's no major optical change, but sure makes a difference for me. :)

And the "Duke of Uke" (made it with artificial leather)
is some sort of inside joke, since someone called me this,
because I played some metal on an (electrical) ukulele.

The "B.C. Rich" on the front is handmade...my first attempt at embroidery.
Maybe I'll add a "Carvin" logo too, since I love my DC200 a lot.

Naw, things like guitar company related merchandise is kinda rare over here.
So if something like that pops up on German ebay, they either demand too much
or people are all over it. Bidding like hell.
So after some failed attempts to get something like that (B.C. Rich logo),
I sat down and forced myself to make an embroidered logo.
If it looks authentic to you, I'm satisfied. :)

Thanks! I like the simple, blank look of the front too.
But on the other hand, I'd really like to cover it,
if I find the right patches (of the bands I like).
Already tried something, but I noticed it would ruin the whole concept of the vest. Guess I have to play the waiting game.

Danke! Diese Kutte existiert aber leider nicht mehr.
Man könnte sagen sie musste ihr Leben lassen und ihre Aufnäher spenden, damit eine neue, bessere Kutte das Licht dieser Welt erblicken konnte.

Really cool jacket man. I like how you did the B.C. rich logo and the Duke of uke. Really like the fact you did it in Iron Maiden font too btw.

Thank you! :) Yea, you're right, I used the Maiden font ("Metal Lord" font) because the few metal related fonts were either too complicated or looked wrong or ultra cheesy.
Both logos were much fun - kinda sad when I ripped everything out though. :(
But like Meshuggah's second album says;

Thanks! I'm a fan of symmetry, but it's the pain in the ass if you're actually going for a wild style vest (2nd vest).
Mixing colors is brutal. Feels like an eternal puzzle with endless combinations.
High frustration level.
This whole thing turned into a science project, man.
