My first vest. It's been through a few changes, but I quite like it as it is. It is a bit big and quite loose fitting on me, but I often wear it over hoodies and other jackets.

Awesome choice of bands and layout. I usually prefer backpatchs to grids of smaller patchs for the back but THESE bands you put there are so awesome that I can't complain.

Cheers man. I was initially worried that I might have gone a bit overkill on the back; I didn't want to end up with too much of a "patchwork quilt" effect going on like you see on a lot of thrash metal jackets.

Yeah, I see what you mean. I don't like all those overpatched "old school thrash vests". It just doesn't pay a tribute to the bands. But your back seems to be methodically organized, it doesn't look messy at all ! Oh and btw, I'm a girl !

I can't imagine what somebody who does not listen to metal or is unfamiliar with all of these bands would think seeing this. The back looks like scratches and scribbles to the untrained 'metal-eye.' Haha, well fuck what they think and see. I can see and think this is awesome, good work \m/

Where'd you get Ahab, and especially the Disma patches?

I got the Disma patch from their bigcartel store (http://disma.bigcartel.com/), but it looks like they're all out of patches at the moment. They've ordered more batches in the past though, so you could contact them to see when/if they'll get more.

As for the Ahab patch, I ordered it from an ebay seller, but he doesn't have any more of them. You can order a bigger one that's their newer logo in white directly from the band though (also from their bigcartel store: http://ahab.bigcartel.com/product/logo-patch).

Some really tasty patches on here from some great bands. I like that it's mostly white on black too; colour can look good for sure, but I definitely prefer a more monochrome look personally.

You have some great taste, Sombres Forets, Deathspell Omega, Ahab, Mitochondrion ( gotta love those local guys) overall this looks great, it almost begs to me in a way to have a album art piece in the middle of the back, then again, that's so often done that this is unique
+1 vomit of death though!
