Slayer Glennmaidenfan's kutte

This is my Kutte, it's a very special piece, because the vest was worn by my father in the 80's, when Thrash was just discovered. I found it in my closet, about 5 months ago, without any patches. It had a very cool vintage look and it fitted like a glove. I searched all over the web for some patches, along with my father, He wanted to help me. We found a site with a lot of different patches and studs, at really cheap prices! So i ordered about 32 patches and a few days later, i found a big package, stuffed in the mailbox. My Mother, Father and I got all of the patches on in just one day, and this is the result! Both me and my father, are immensely proud of the Kutte and it will keep me company at a lot of festival to come!!

man thats fucking awsome, to have the same kutte your old man had! I know how it is to want to have your vest done but I think what really makes a vest is years of searching for old patches and buying them at fests and from other metalheads not just ordering all from one site. but you got some good bands on there and a killer backpatch

whats the patch on the back that looks all black?

That vest is really unique, and the fact that its been through a generation of thrashing makes it even better. I really love the Cauldron patch and the Kreator-Pleasure to Kill backpatck is sick! Theres not a bad band on your vest. Also, every patch is like perfectly placed. Awesome job!

Dude, love the jacket and the history that goes with it, only issue is the Airbourne patch, i saw heaps of them on jackets at festivals this year and i don't think they have been around long enough or are good enough to be on a jacket quite yet, still an awesome jacket dude.

no, it's a Motley Crue patch, it's just that the pictures are so damn blurry because of my badly beaten camera xD

Wish my parents were like yours. Actually I'm the cool metalhead mom, but I can't see my boy wearing my hand-me-down kutte when he's older, lol! I may give it to my stepdaughter when she matures a bit. Right now she's into mainstream metal!
