Black Metal Jacket (VERSION 2)

Update to my jacket.

Overview of my jacket
(Pic 1-3)

I added a hood, which I painted with the One Tail One Head logo on one side and an inverted cross graphic on the other.
(the hood is actually closer to black than blue. its just the lighting which makes it look more blue here.)

I added a pocket bottle opener+ LED flashlight on the end of the chain. Comes in REAL handy.

I studded the shoulder flaps and added a white trim to it

I added a Goat's head+Iron cross to the pocket.

I'm pretty much creatively stuck for now. Have a few more patches, but i dont know if i should put them because i dont like it to look too cluttered.
So it's probably gonna stay quite like this for a while to come.

thanks! i dont know how i should add to it, tbh. there's quite a bit of room left to play with. i'm thinking of adding my nifelheim and morbid patches on the shoulders like army tabs, but its still an idea for now. I also have a large beherit patch i'd like to add. take a look at my noticeboard and tell me where you think i could put the patches?

I say keep it simple. If it were me, I'd take some of your black and white patches and make two rows of patches on either side below the pockets. Your idea with the Nifelheim and Morbid patches sounds cool too.

U sir have a pretty cool jacket. The judas iscariot band patch on the sleeve kinda reminds me of an nsbm look tho.

yeah, thanks. i was kinda going for a quasi-military look actually. hence the SA inspired design. same reason why i placed an iron cross patch on the pocket. so yeah, you're not too wrong to say that.

Well actually the only "bad" thig for me is the yellow Impiety patch. Except this I think it's a perfect jacket! How did you sew the hood?

hmm... why is it bad?

and i unpicked the seams of hood off a hoodie.
i then simply sewed it along the edge of the jacket. at the back i sewed it near the top of the collar, while in front i sewed it near the second button. the positioning is mainly a matter of trial and error, tbh.

It's not reallybad, just a matter of taste, I'm not a huge fan of colours on BM jackets :) and thanks! I think I will borrow your idea and sew a hood on my bomber jacket!

i get your point. i had a few options actually. among them was a poison and desaster logo on each wrist. i'll rethink about what looks best. thanks!

oh and if you have a zipper, you can attach a zipper to the hood and make it removable. i was gonna do that but i got lazy.

I'm not sure.
Perhaps a row down the right sleeve, starting from the epaulet. Along the waist... though that might get annoying when you wear it.

You could maybe replace the buttons with spikes too. You'd have to sew the button holes smaller so they're still functional as buttons.

Maybe the hood opening too?

I dunno. You've got this asymmetrical thing going on, which is totally badass, but easy to disrupt and make the jacket look cheesy.

So far so good, regardless!

i dont know either.
tbh it's much easier to make leather look good than denim. i wish this jacket was at least double breasted. it'd look much better.
i'd love to work on a trenchcoat or something similar.

it has a kind of 'uniform' appeal to it, so...over patching it might actually ruin this effect, I'd go for just a few more and maybe a pin or 2, but I'm liking this creation.

well i added it because i intended this jacket for the winter now. I tried wearing a jacket over a hoodie and i thought it looked good, so i decided to try this. I'm pretty happy with the results.
I dont use the hood as a hood per se all the time though. most of the time i just let it rest around my neck to keep it warm. only when its much colder or when its raining do i put up the hood.

wow, that would be a huge honour indeed. its quite complete in this state. i'm looking for something to sill the bottom half. I have a beherit patch i intend to sew there, but i'm looking for another similarly sized one to match it. i doubt i can find one anytime soon, its quite an unusual size.
why don't you give me a deadline and i'll submit it to you by then, however it looks at that time?
